Jeep Compass Updates from 2018 to 2019 

This SUV offers the same great performance, style and features as the previous model year. The 2019 model has shuffles some features around, so you can find different feature options on different trim levels. Aside from a few feature updates, this model is largely similar to the previous model year. 

Performance 

The Compass comes with a 2.4-liter Tigershark MultiAir2 engine that provides 180 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque for an energetic ride. It can tow up to 2,000 pounds, so you can bring along all kinds of cargo. The Compass offers impressive 4x4 capabilities, along with the Selec-Terrain Traction Management System, which allows you to adjust the power and traction to suit a variety of different weather conditions and terrain, so you never have to shy away from a driving challenge. Other features like Hill Descent Control, along with the Compass' impressive ground clearance and water fording abilities, allow you to go where other vehicles can't. 

Interior 

On the inside of the Compass, you'll find seating for five, along with a variety of features that make your driving experience simpler and more enjoyable. The available leather trim, heated front seats and heated steering wheel provide a comfortable ride, while features like the split-folding rear seats, power liftgate and ample cargo space provide convenience. You can relax and enjoy the ride in the Compass, thanks to its impressive safety features. Its seven airbags and high-strength steel build provide the protection you need. Other features like Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Path Detection and Lane Departure Warning help you keep an eye on your surroundings, so you can make safer driving choices.
